Partner Organisations Who Can Help
Response Service

The RESPONSE Domestic Abuse Link Pilot is a 24 hour homelessness service for women experiencing domestic abuse who are also at risk of homelessness.
The service is integral to the Homelessness Partnership and is provided by Community Casework Teams during the day and by Emergency Services at the Hamish Allan Centre through female outreach Link Workers during the night.
The service prioritises access to Temporary Furnished Flats for women with or without children if they meet referral criteria.
Women can contact the pilot direct or be referred by another agency.

Assist Service
The Domestic Abuse Court operates in part of the south side of Glasgow, including Castlemilk, Greater Govan, Greater Pollok, Cardonald, and Gorbals (G Division of Strathclyde Police).
The Assist service is linked to the Domestic Abuse Court and workers provide information, advocacy and support to adults, both male and female, young people and children who are survivors of domestic abuse and are involved with the Specialist Domestic Abuse Court.
If you live in the area of the Domestic Abuse Court, have been assaulted and the perpetrator has been arrested you should be offered a referral to ASSIST by the Police at the time of the incident.
You will be contacted by ASSIST workers the following day. Information about court processes and support tailored to each individual’s needs is available. Practical and emotional help with safety planning, ongoing support for children, advocacy to the court and referral to other appropriate agencies are available.
Advocates are independent, understand the risks associated with domestic abuse and the difficulties that survivors have. ASSIST’S aim is to help the survivor regain control over her life and to empower her to make her own decisions.
We can provide details of other women's organisations and support services in Glasgow who can help you.
